   The location of the property we sell is in an area 5 km distance to the Greece border, between the tourist permanent ways of Bulgaria and Greece. The Rhodopes are quite different here. On the relatively small area the Nature has created an unique landscape. In order to get there you have to travel on the following roads: Smolyan - Stoykite - Shiroka luka - Borino; Plovdiv - Pamporovo - Shiroka luka - Borino.

  Trigrad village is a small village in the central part of the Rhodope Mountain, famous for The Trigrad Gorge. There is a cave waterfall - one of the highest underground waterfalls in Europe, 42 m high. Being a border area, Trigrad has been closed for many years. As a place Trigrad is famous for the Trigrad Gorge and the nearby limestone caves "Jagodina" and "The Devil\'s Throat".
   

  Located at the foot of solid rocks, the village of Trigrad is a starting point for numerous eco paths and tourist routes in the region. The village offers also many attractions for tourists, such as caving, horse riding and other possibilities.
  Horseback riding in Trigrad is a unique experience and offers a great satisfaction, no matter if you are a beginner or an experienced rider. You will ride in the heart of the gorgeous Rhodopean nature – an abundant wildlife, awesome river gorges and waterfalls, vast forests, endless lush pastures.
 

  The village of Trigrad with its awesome gorge and caves, is the star attraction in the southwestern Rhodopes, 30 km south of Devin. The Trigrad Gorge is one of the most spectacular vistas in Bulgaria, its sheer walls overhanging the foaming Trigradska river, which disappears into the fantastic Devil\'s Throat cave, accessible via a 150-metre-long tunnel. The thunder of water can be heard long before you see a huge waterfall that through the enormous Roaring Hall vanishes into the canyon; objects swept into the cave are never seen again. The wild karst terrain surrounding the sprawling village of Trigrad, abounds in caves - 102 found so far. One of them, Haramiiska cave is of great interest. Trigrad is a starting point for horseback riding, biking, and hiking to the village of Mugla and the Yagodinska cave famous for its unique cave pearls and other formations, as well as for the yielded 7000 years old Neolithic implements.

  The village of Trigrad is favourite place for a holiday of spelunkers and adventure lovers. You can follow some tourist trails around the village. There are more then 40 caves found in the surroundings, the most popular is the Yagodinska cave - the most beautiful cave in the Rhodope region. A special path through the cave offers the opportunity to see the wonderful underground world formed in the course of millions of years. Do not miss to visit the Eneolithic cave-dwelling situated 10 min from the artificial entrance of the cave.
 

  20 km away is situated the town of Devin. The town is a well – known balneology resort. As long ago as the remote past the region and town Devin are famous with a wide variety of curative mineral springs. According to the specialists the mineral waters are suitable for different kinds of diseases.  There is no other town in Bulgaria and on the Balkan Peninsula with so many healing mineral springs and natural phenomenons.
